![]() We ended up getting another taxi which cost us a further 78 Euro return. After waiting for an hour we decided to ring the emergency number to be told there was no booking with our reference number and no booking in my name. BIG MISTAKE, we had our Booking Confirmation and Invoice, but when we arrived on Sunday 12th July, there was nobody waiting for us in the arrivals hall. We choose Resorthoppa for our return transfer from Barcelona Airport to the Port of Barcelona cruise terminal. All in all they picked us up but I don't think I would use them again as there was loads of messing about.instead of getting what you think you've paid for.you still have to queue and ring them.not great. ![]() We got on the coach and he was the most surly miserable bloke.he even checked our seats before he got our cases off!!! We are in our 40's we did not make any kind of mess so not what I would expect!! The other pain was you had to confirm that you want picking up!!! I can't think why I wouldn't want to be picked up when I have already paid for the service!! I tried to confirm over the app but this did not work and I had to ring them.my cost again!! The return driver could not have been more different very nice and friendly and as a result he got a good tip. After speaking to a few people we were told to wait in a huge queue.I was not happy as we had paid extra not to wait around.after around 15 minutes a male walked to the queue and very quietly said my name.we spoke to him and went to our bus.phew didn't have to wait in the huge queue.but still not what I expected. When we came out of from retrieving our cases we expected to see our name held by our driver.this was not the case.I did get a text but you had to click the link and I had turned my internet off due to high costs. I went on a girly trip to magaluf and we paid around £100 for a private transfer as the last time we went we waited for another flight to land. Their T&Cs state "We will endeavour to ensure that child seats are provided by our Suppliers where they have been requested (and in some cases paid for by you at the time of Booking)." - this did not translate to my experience, so please be aware, if traveling with infants I then had to call up to book one (at a cost of £5 each way!) and spoke to the rudest customer advisor, who started her introduction with "whats wrong with your booking" - this filled me with great hope - after 30 minutes on the call/on hold the car seat was booked. ![]() This was only found out because my wife decided to e-mail and check. Even though I clearly booked for an infant, and added in the notes that I required a car seat one would not have been provided. The company loses a mark because of their policy on car seats for infants. The car, as promised, was reasonably new and clean, plenty of space for my family and our luggage.The driver was helpful and courteous, and spoke decent English. I booked hoppa for a pick up and return from/to Faro Airport (Portugal) to the Martinhal Resort (about 90 mins drive) and and thankfully I had no issues at all. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this company and wouldn't recommend anyone use them. The Hoppa company could have easily made this a more positive experience by taking accountability for my experience, however they clearly won't do so. It is not safe, let alone a good experience. But you don't want to be the 18 year old girl standing alone in airport in a brand new country after a 10 hour flight looking for someone who should be their to pick you up. Im sure some of their shuttles show up, and thats great. My advice to you don't let any loved ones, especially young daughters travelling to a new country for the fist time have this company to rely on. Once I got home I tried numbers times to get through to someone from their extremely unprofessional company, with again no response until my 6th email, someone by the name of Tracy finally got back to me, (who was extremely rude and unhelpful.)- After numerous emails back and forth, I finally convinced her that I indeed follow all protocol, ( as I obviously would have liked to get on the shuttle I had booked and paid for) and now she will no longer respond to my email. ![]() I ended up spending an extra 1000 Euros on taxis while I had already paid for and booked my hoppa. ![]() After trying to get in contact with someone from the company no one returned my calls or emails, nor were able to help me at all while stuck looking for my shuttle to the airport to catch my next flight. As a young woman traveling to Europe for the fist time, I chose to book a hoppa transfer, hoping I would have a stress and worry free experience while traveling alone in a new country. Hello, I just wanted to take the time to help anyone so they don't go through the same experience I did. ![]()
